The Three Phases of Pregnancy

Everyone, including the doctors always say the first trimester can be rough, the second is glorious and the third is, well, uncomfortable. Well, I have seen the light of the second trimester. Although I still get sick, that is part of my life now, so I am used to it and if I might say, quite good at it. Not sure if it is possible to be good at something like that, but I want to give myself credit where credit is due. I now have energy to do things (when I am not sick to my stomach) and actually have an appetite back. I have only gained 3 pounds to date. For 16 weeks, that is not as much as I thought I would gain. So I have officially entered the phase that I call, pregnancy is not that bad. NOW I can look back on my first three months and say it went by quickly. Talk to me in another 13 weeks, I bet I have another outlook!

A kid in a candy store

That is what Neal looked like last night when he saw my growing belly. He had not seen it in a while and could not stop grinning. Just earlier in the car he was saying how he thought my bump would be bigger by now. It made things just a little bit more real for both of us. It was the greatest smile I have ever seen. I wish I would have taken a picture of him. Instead, he took a picture of me and sent it to my mom. She confirmed that I am indeed getting bigger.

Selling box of kid toy guns!

Seriously? I could not believe when I saw this on Craig's List.

Big Box of Nerf Guns

People really do buy guns for their kids, lots of them, and they live right here in Clintonville. Vests, glasses, guns and bazookas, oh my! I guess if you are going to use a gun, you might as well consider safety.
