Grady's first haircut

The hairdresser said if they cry the first time they are usually happy for all future cuts. Guess after paying $20 they should say anything to make me happy.

Gwen came along.

Having fun before the haircut!

Ok, they wet my hair, I like to take baths.

Whoa, where are you going with those scissors?

This is not fun anymore!

Mommy, why are you smiling? Help me!

Ahhhhhhh I don't wanna die!

Grandma, for the love of god, please put the camera down and rescue me!

Safety Advisory

I am sure you have read my previous posts on babies in boxes. Please be advised that I did not put the lid on the boxes the babies were in. I figured I better make this clear before someone goes and closes the lid and blames it on my blog. If you do close the lid, at least make sure the box big enough for your kid and poke some holes in it so they can breath.

10 months old!

The babies are growing up so fast. Our schedule is going great. This month the babies became even better sleepers if that is even possible. Naps have been going rather smooth and even seem to be consistently longer. The babies really picked up their eating and drinking this month. Grady will pretty much eat anything. Gwen loves meat. In general they both seem to prefer people food versus purees.

My beautiful baby girl

I apologize for the 80s hair, for some reason I have it whenever I am taking pictures with my babies.

Watching C play

Here is our day
6:30 - wake up
7:00 - bottle (7 ounces)
8:00 - breakfast (applesauce and oatmeal)
8:45 - nap
10:00 - wake up
11:00 - bottle (6 ounces)
12:00 - lunch (yogurt and a veggie)
1:00 - nap
2:00-2:30 - wake up
3:00 - bottle (6 ounces)
5:30 - dinner (fruit and veggie or whatever we are eating for dinner)
6:30 - bottle (5-6 ounces)
7:00 - bedtime

The babies are pretty much going right down for naps and bedtime. There is very rarely any screaming. Sometimes that chat. This weekend we got them some new stuffed animals, so they have been playing with them in their cribs. Grady continues to crawl everywhere and constantly tries to pull himself up. Gwen is working on rolling around a little more. I hope she is crawling by the end of the month, but we will just have to wait and see.

Tents!

The babies are 10 months old. This month they will go on their first camping trip. I was unsure how they would sleep in the camper, not to mention it does not fit a pack n play, let alone two.....so we decided on tents! The babies seemed to enjoy them.

Due to our first contractors really sucking, we have new contractors. The worst thing to fix is the ceiling on the second floor that is falling down. Pretty sad if you ask me. Regardless the entire upstairs ceilings need to be scraped, retextured and the walls repainted. Good news is I get to change the nursery color. Bad news is we have a major inconvenience of contractors in the house the next two weeks. This weekend we relocated the cribs to our room so they can get the nursery done ASAP. This is the sixth time Neal has had to take apart/put together the cribs. Talk about a pain in the you know what. Anyways, during the day the babies are not able to nap in their cribs upstairs, so we decided to give the tent a test run. Gwen did pretty good, although her sleeping positions are rather odd.
