Cotton Candy

We headed out to a cops and kids day in Westerville the other weekend and found a great surprise... Cotton candy! Neal was so deprived as a child (he always complains he got nothing, including action figures), so of course we got some. I had to throw it in the kids hands just to give Wendy a tiny heart attack!
Don't worry Wendy, I am sure there is spinach some where inside all of that sugar! I have to admit, I enjoyed it a little too, ok a lot!

Carts

Carts are so important when carting around twins by yourself or even with someone else in tow. The older they get the less they want to stay still. We typically shop at Lowe's but had to go to Home Depot for something and found the most amazing cart ever.

Yes this is what my life has turned in to, critiquing carts! It is great that the kids are close by me unlike Kroger. Typically there is some pushing or stealing and I like to have a front row seat for it.

Grady's wave

Grady is so awake in the morning. He is really cheesing it up at the table during breakfast. I usually get a lot of waves before going to work.

Now and Then...

Now...

Then...
One year ago, hard to believe! If I only knew how easy it was back then. Ok, not so much easier to get a picture of them both looking at the camera, but you understand. Dinners out were rarely interrupted and there was no one to entertain or feed but myself. Our day to day activities have changed so much. They are no longer sitting in bouncy seats for hours a day. They move so quickly I turned my head for one second and lost Grady in our tiny living room. It gets harder every day in some ways, but also easier. I guess no one can tell you that until you live it. The babies are growing so fast it is amazing. Leslie and I were talking about C going to preschool and I cannot even believe it. I still remember holding him for the first time in the hospital. Preschool...really?
