Confessions of twin moms

I could not stop laughing at some of these. I could also foresee these things happening in our life.

I put my shirt over my nose when I change a poopy diaper. (If that is what Neal has to do then so be it)

I purposely leave the food that they threw on the floor after they have eaten just in case they need a snack (The dogs will take care of that)

I bribe my girls with chocolate chip mini muffins when we're out, cuz they LOVE them and it keeps them quiet. till we're done with the package. then i'm screwed all over again.

The boys wash their hands before & after meals and after they come in from outside at daycare. Now, at home, they ask for it & I find it a hassle . I will admit, sheepishly, that they know to 'brush their hands off' by rubbing them together...my quick & easy form of 'washing' before dinner ! I do always wash when we come in from outside though.

I left vomit on the floor for 45 minutes while waiting for DH to get home so he could clean it up because I was tired of doing it all by myself. I did give the baby a bath, change his clothes, and mine. And kept everyone safely gated in another room. And I did feel guilty when DH cleaned it up without being asked, and without a complaint. (I think I have actually done this to Neal with a dog accident)

Not only do my kids eat off the floor, I actually feed them like chickens. I put them in their playroom and toss the food in, the love it.

Every morning they wake at 7am, we turn on their tv (yes they have one in their room ) and go back to bed to try and get 30 more minutes.

My biggest fear is getting pregnant again.

Both of my girls can say Sh*t, clear as day, and in the right context

I would trade DH for a housekeeper.

I have a favorite child.

I haven't showered in 3 days and today's not looking good either.

I put peach schnapps in my morning oj pretty much every day between months 2 and 4

26 weeks

Another week and another appointment. Things are looking great. I no longer have to see my specialist, just my OBGYN every two weeks. I have gained a solid 20 pounds. I am getting another heartburn medication, which hopefully will reduce my vomiting from twice a week to never again and could potentially make my weight gain increase drastically. Right now, I eat very little at night, that is when my heartburn is acting up. I am not even sure it is heartburn, basically, it feels like the food I ate an hour ago has not entered my stomach, but is sitting in the back of my throat. Next appointment I will get a growth ultrasound and complete my glucose test. I am not looking forward to that, I just hope I can keep the gross drink down. The doc suggested something for my hip pain. Apparently wearing an adult diaper is the cure.

Can you imagine how much Neal will laugh at me? I guess you will all have to wonder when you see me whether I am wearing my diaper with attached suspenders or not!

Here is my pic. I am starting to think the angle and outfit can really make me look a whole lot different from week to week. This weeks picture looks as big as I feel.
And yes, if you are wondering, I do have my pajamas on and it is only 6pm.

This was the first week someone said to me "Oh twins, now it makes sense to me how far along you look". Thanks, thanks a lot.

Kicking Babies

The babies are kicking a lot now, mostly around lunch time. Sometimes they will kick me if I poke at them. Pretty cool! I cannot wait to get another ultrasound to confirm who is kicking me where.

Tippy continues to be very interested in the baby doll we have at home. He wraps his entire mouth around the body and tries to steal it. He does it in a very gentle way. I think if we left him alone with the baby, he may eat it. Luke could care less. I cannot wait for the dogs to feel the babies kick.

Luke

Poor guy has no idea. We could never get a picture of Tippy like this, he could not sit still with a bib on. He would be trying to eat it off.

It is going to be one hot summer

On the way up to Cleveland I could not cool down. I had removed my socks and shoes. I had to have Neal give me shots of AC to keep my temperature under control. Poor Neal could not handle it. I never thought this day would ever come.

No luck on getting Lebron to autograph my belly, but we did see a great game. Never thought Neal would be the one trying to drag me around to see the entire arena. Needless to say my calves are sore just from walking around once. Sad! The babies must have been thrown off at the game. They were randomly kicking throughout. Usually they are quiet at night. What lucky kids, they got to go to a Cavs game at negative 3 months old and they got to sit on mommy's lap the entire time!

25 weeks

Things are going good. I had a string of 7 days without getting sick. Suzy had her shower this weekend and received a ton of stuff. We are both very fortunate. I would post pictures, but my pregnancy brain kicked in and I forgot to put the battery in my camera.

Up this week, CAVS game. I cannot wait. I have wanted to see Lebron up close for some time now. Neal even gave me permission to have him sign my belly. So Lebron, if you happen to be reading this, I will be the pregnant lady in section 123 that most likely will be dozing off in the second half (not because of you, because my body gives me no option). Please come by and sign my belly. It will make a great post for my blog. Our seats are awesome thanks to my dad.

Blogger has not been uploading my pictures for two days, so I will load as soon as it starts working again.
