Dash for Donation

http://www.active.com/running/columbus-oh/dash-for-donation-2010

The babies and I will be participating in the Dash for Donation. This is a great event that raises awareness for organ and tissue donation. If you would like to join me, click the link and select the team option. We as always are Team McKoth. I am so far behind on getting this rolling. Registration is over on Thursday. Right now I just signed up for the 1k, but I may end up doing the 5 k. Join me if you would like!

The event is Saturday, July 10th at 7am.

Swimming Take 2

I decided to buy a small pool after using the sprinkler pool. I think they will like the sprinkler pool more next year. The water has to be constantly running so it is pretty cold. I set the new pool up during the babies nap to get the water nice and warm. They enjoyed it, at least I think they did. One good thing is my arms got quite the workout carrying them in and out. The extra bonus, they slept a little bit longer the next day (every 15 minutes helps).

Swimming

With the weather being so hot, I figured it was time to drag out a sprinkler pool we received at a shower. The babies hated it at first, probably due to the ice cold water, but eventually they came around.

Memorial Day

Ryan and Leslie had a Memorial Day cookout today. I think this is the third year we did it. The first year it was pretty small, C could not yet walk and he was eating his feet. This year, C is running around, playing corn hole and I have two kids who are eating their feet. Things sure do change fast. Luckily Jill was there with her camera that I drool over. She sent some cute pictures over.

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Moustache for helping me out. Without Neal it is kinda hard, not to mention it was so humid outside I would have been drenched hauling around both babies.

Please tell me this is not going to happen to my kids. This is R and C, our friends kids. Look at them. They are so big and they are playing by themselves. They are growing up so fast. I wish I could freeze time.

11 months old

The babies are a blast. They are really starting to mimic us and are complete sponges. Gwen has been waving and clapping for a while. Grady must have been observing her the last month because he all of a sudden decided to join along with the fun. It is too cute. He also decided to start doing so big with Gwen (I need to get a better video of this). Grady is crawling everywhere and Gwen is getting a little more daring on trying to move. I am hopeful that before she turns one she will be crawling. Without further ado, tilt your head to the side and take a look (I am an idiot and cannot figure out my camera's video feature).

Gwen can get kinda wild when blowing kisses. One time she poked herself in the eye. Grady had started to realize that Gwen was really putting on a show and getting all of the attention. He learned that by waving, clapping and shaking his head no he could take over the room!

I can get used to this life

Grandma sat Gwen on the couch the other day with a pillow behind her. Gwen enjoyed it so much. She was smiling and rocking forward and backward. Someday she will be standing and jumping on it.
